Iconic Destinations

Skyhouse climbers are bold, uncommon structures that help venues become world-renowned destinations. Your climber will help increase visitation (and repeat visitation), help you deliver on your mission, and have a positive impact on your local economy.

Unique to Your Organization

Each climber is unrepeatable, tailored to your specific needs and space. Climbers can live inside or outside. Some stand as majestic towers, others spread wide and low or nestle into hidden corners. Rather than tether the creative process to fixed, off-the-shelf play “solutions,” our one-of-a-kind climbers have distinctive personalities that reflect the host venue’s story.

Safe to Explore

A great climber shouldn't be easy; it should test your courage, stretch your abilities, and give you a new sense of self. Unlike rock walls, climbing gyms, and ropes courses, we design our climbers for appropriate risk-taking and bold adventure without the need for specialty harnesses or certified staff. Skyhouse climbers comply with U.S. Public Playground Safety Standards and regulations local to your project.

Adaptable Budgets

As with anything custom, the price range varies. Skyhouse climbing structures have been designed, built, and installed from $1M to $10M USD. Early in our process, we work with you to develop an in-depth budget, considering your fundraising capacity, project timing, and future operational bandwidth.

Local Partners

We are designers, not fabricators. When we design a climber, we are free to imagine what’s possible. We help our clients build their climber by preparing technical specifications, then partnering with hand-selected engineers and fabricators for each project. This promotes a competitive construction bidding process and bolsters opportunities to employ the talents of craftspeople local to your project.
