Children’s Museum of Denver

at Marsico Campus

Denver, CO, USA: 2015

The Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus opened an expanded 9.1 acre campus in November 2015. As part of the expansion, we added a 3.5 story climber where guests may ascend to a glass-capped peak; an arts studio complete with clay, kilns - and an artist in residence program; an energy exhibit where families think like engineers to find, collect and use different resources to power amazing things; a water exhibit that tests theories behind flow, buoyancy, density and displacement; a working teaching kitchen where families can try delicious foods and learn how to prepare them; and Joy Park, a 30,000 sq. ft. one of a kind outdoor park complete with ruins, canyons, a river and sand dunes to explore, designed in collaboration with Mundus Bishop Landscape Architects.
