Strategic planning exercises tend to focus on data collection and neutral analysis. While this can be partially helpful, our approach is different. We started our planning process by collecting and analyzing myriad information about Port Discovery, evaluate it, and provide PD with an actionable and effective direction. This Plan not only says, "Here's what we think your situation is," but also, "Here's what we think you should do about it."

Skyhouse Studio produces key staff interviews, space utilization diagrams, qualitative evaluations of exhibits, clear recommendations, a step-by-step “road map,” a multi-year timeline, and project-to-project budget estimates.

We are not scientists or mathematicians. We are museum leaders and museum designers. Our recommendations are qualitative as much as quantitative, and they flow from our creative intuitions about your organization.
