These two distinct exhibits are part of a larger effort to revitalize an already excellent and beloved children’s museum. Skyhouse Studio first conducted a comprehensive museum-wide analysis: eliciting staff input, observing guests, offering side-by-side area comparisons with other leading children’s museums, identifying exhibit strengths and places to grow, and ultimately culminating with a step-by-step improvement roadmap.

“Skies” is a beautiful and tranquil sensory space that invites guests to slow down and find peace within their busy, hectic day.

“Galactic Builders” is a S.T.E.A.M. focused tinkering space that encourages guests to build and test rockets, rovers, and landing space capsules. Practice, fail, practice, fail, practice, succeed…
